3~4 sets. For bar phone moulds : It includes one
set of main body, one set of accessories + push keys, one
set of transparent lens; Flip phone is normal the same as
bar phone, but if there are many accessories or many transparent
keys, it requires 4 sets of moulds; Slide phone normally
needs 4 sets of moulds, the center shell need one set of
mould separately. Besides, silica gel and iron wares to
be used shall be determined according to specific phone
type.
Common fabrication procedure of dummy mobile phone:
Press
keys£ºThey are normally made movable, but some customer may
require fixed keys. Press keys shall have favorable touch
feeling. Silica gel is placed on the back of press keys
whose spud will contact directly with shrapnel the keys
are pressed. Transparent keys are painted after having passed
through silk printing on the back; ABS key passes through
silk printing after surface painting.
Navigation keys normally passes through silk printing ¨C
printing ink galvanization and the paint will not peel off
after drying. For more stringent requirements, it can be
fabricated by electro deposited mould which will result
in a high cost.
Lens for inner and outside screens: If there is no special
requirement, they are normally made by PS or pmma moulding
with letters printed on the back. But either PS or PMMA
material is applicable for electroplating, PC material can
be electroplated after certain treatment, but high disability
rate leads to high cost. Thus in most cases glass is adopted
for lens requiring electroplating effect.
Normally the fabrication of dummy phone mould shall be
determined after analysis on raw materials and procedures
to reach vivid effect as the real phone. An definite analysis
of real phone at first is very important, and it is essential
to make a good product. In order to ensure simplest and
easiest assembling of the phone for massive production,
structure design and mould design shall give consideration
to internal structure of the mould with the help of procedure
analysis of the mould.
